Poke San is a seafood restaurant in Chicago, Illinois. It is listed at 701 N Wells St, Chicago, IL 60654, which places it among the local businesses of Chicago that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
This group covers the non-Asian restaurants, cafes, bars and food businesses that also appear in a mixed-cuisine food scene, including American diners, pizza, Mexican food, burgers, steakhouses and bakeries. Standard US restaurant norms apply: lunch and dinner service with a quieter stretch between, cards and tap-to-pay accepted almost everywhere, and a tip of 15-20% customary for table service. Fast food and quick-service counters expect payment up front and tipping is optional. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Many restaurants in this group take reservations online through third-party platforms, while casual and fast-food spots are walk-in only. Sales tax is added at the register on top of the menu price and varies by city and state, so the final total is usually a few percent higher than the posted prices suggest.

Chicago is in Illinois, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Chicago follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Everythings so fresh, the taste were good just spicy mayo a bit light, wasibi mayo was great, the most thing i like is a lot of topping to choose, including mashroom, chickpea, picked white radish and etc.

I made my way to Poke San on the idea that I would just be having a walk. I did not have any destination in mind so when I arrived at the corner of huron and wells, I saw the sign for Poke San. I decide to get out of the sun and stop in to check out what they had to entice my curiosity. I entered the restaurant and they had two counters set against a wall with two counters for seating set against the windows and also some caved seats in the following wall all the way to the back. I walked to the associate and asked what they were recommending to eat and they motioned for me to look at the menu. I spotted a menu on the wall and immediately liked just I saw. They have premade poke bowls and build your own. The premades vary on the amount of vegetable toppings and protein that are added. I chose the aloha bowl, which included salmon, tuna, and shrimp along with sushi rice and topped with vegetables like cucumber, carrot, and kimchi. I ordered my bowl and as I waited I moved to the beverage counter and prepped my order for a beverage while the drink was made. The options range from boba teas, to coffees, to mixed sodas, and smoothies. I chose a mixed soda of berry and mango.

Just picked up an order, sat down at my desk, went to go eat. I got a few bites in and noticed a large dead fly in my meal. I called the business to let them know, the person on the other end said that they could not understand me and then they decided just to hang up the phone. Would love for somebody at this business to contact me for a full refund of my meal.

Top 3 poke spots in Chicago now. Decent price point for a build your own bowl with plenty of toppings to add on. Lovely workers too!

Fresh ingredients and quick service - nice outdoor patio seating. They seemed to have less variety of ingredients compared to other poke places but otherwise no complaints! Love the salmon build your own poke bowls.
